What general information do i need to know prior to my treatment?

Please arrive at the Spa 15 minutes prior to your treatment as this allows time to complete your consultation form. Late arrival will result in your treatment time being shortened as all treatments will finish as scheduled so not to interrupt our next client. Dress in comfortable clothing and we will take care of the rest on your arrival.

What is our Cancellation Policy?

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy and Credit card details are required to secure your appointment. Failure to advise us of a cancellation within 24 hours prior to your appointment will result in a cancellation charge of 50% of your treatment cost being charged to your card. For gift vouchers, the cancellation fee will be deducted from the voucher balance. For all group bookings of 2 people or more we require 48 hours notice.

What is our Loyalty Rewrds Programme?

We value our customers and to show our appreciation we have set up a loyalty rewards programme. For every $20 spent at niche we will reward you with 1 point. When 25 points have been accumulated a $25.00 credit will be added to your account to be redeemed on any service over $30.00 at niche skincare & day spa. Points are redeemable for 3 months once credit has been added to your account.

Where does our expert advice come from?

Our therapists are internationally qualified and highly competent in performing all beauty and spa therapy treatments. Niche skincare & day spa has undergone professional training with a private consultant Dr Olga Garkavenko who has helped with the overall product formulation on site.

Dr Olga Garkavenko is the Owner/Director of New Zealand Cosmeceuticals which is a biotechnology Cosmeceuticals Company specialisng in cosmetic design. Dr Olga Garkavenko holds a PhD in Oncology/Biochemistry and a MS in Biochemistry. She also holds 3 patents and has professional affiliations with the American Microbiology Society, Cosmetic toiletry & Fragrance Association and the New Zealand Cosmetic Chemist Society. Our skincare specialists have also participated in skincare formulation workshops with Belinda Carli who is the Director of the award winnig Institute of Personal Care Science in Australia.

What ingredients do we use?

Our New Zealand suppliers specialise in plant based 100% natural products and have an active interest in health and the environment. Our international suppliers provide high quality innovative anti-ageing and skin corrective cosmeceutical ingredients.

We carry a select combination of Natural, Organic and Cosmeceutical actives however we will discuss your individual requirements during your consultation.

Where do we source our ingredients?

Where possible we try to source the majority of our ingredients through New Zealand suppliers however, we also source from trusted international suppliers for specialist ingredients we can not source within New Zealand.

Are our ingredients tested for safety?

We source our ingredients from trusted suppliers who ensure the highest stringent quality, purity and safety standards are met. They also provide Certification of Analysis, specifications and MSDS with each and every ingredient to ensure we have all the necessary information to provide the highest quality product to our customers.

Are the base products made on site?

We do create our own unique blend of bases onsite however we also source high quality, nutrient rich pre-made bases form our suppliers within New Zealand that come with a full list of ingredients that have been tested and proven.

How do we know this works?

Each individual ingredient we use has been tested with proven results for the significance of their use. We take these stable active ingredients and blend them into stable, nutrient filled bases to produce safe, high quality skincare products specific to your concerns.
