How Toxic Is Your Corner Of The World?
December 13, 2014
You don’t have to live in a concrete jungle to be surrounded by toxins and chemicals. Consider these sources and try to avoid as many as you can.
Household cleaning products such as detergents, bleaches, ammonia cleaners, and “air fresheners” that could contain powerful chemicals.
Personal care products often contain unsafe toxins and chemicals. These include such products as lotions, make-up, nail polish, shampoo’s and conditioners, deodorant’s, mouthwash and other hair care products.
Pesticides or herbicides come into contact with most fruit and vegetables we eat on a daily basis. This will lead to cellular damage within your body.
Your everyday work environment is one of the biggest contributors to toxicity. All things such as artificial ventilation, paint, fumes from furniture and carpets all give off toxins, which your body then breathes in.
Xenoestrogens. These mimic estrogen within the body and can throw hormone levels off. Found in plastic packaging, Styrofoam, some cleaning products, lawn treatments, cosmetics, meat and other animal by-products. Remember just because the animal is dead does not mean the chemicals have left its body!
Artificial sweeteners, fat free, sugar free foods and drinks are more than likely synthetic replacements which the human body is incapable of fully digesting and breaking down, which then begin to stagnate within your body, slowly building up.
Due to pollution the air we breathe is constantly filling our bodies with toxins! No matter how fresh the air is, pollutants are constantly around us! This is the only one we cannot escape!
